MobilityPlus+ Ultra-Light InstaSplit Electric Wheelchair

The MobilityPlus+ InstaSplit Electric Wheelchair features a clever detachable frame design that allows it to split into 2 sections in seconds – with the heaviest part just 13.55kg! It is the perfect option for users who require a sturdy powerchair for outdoor activities, whilst being light enough to lift in and out of car boots regularly. 

The wheelchair will fold downwards into a compact package, similar to the folding mechanism found in children’s pushchairs. Once folded, the InstaSplit has the option to detach the top and bottom parts by simply pulling the two levers found on the side of the frame and sliding the top section out. This significantly reduces the lifting weight and makes storing the wheelchair a lot easier – ideal for transporting in cars, airplanes and other forms of transport.

The InstaSplit wheelchair is the newest addition to our Ultra-Light range, with a unique range of colours – gunmetal grey, crimson red, navy blue and champagne – that makes this wheelchair one of the most striking powerchairs of its kind. 

The chair is controlled with an easy-to-use joystick that can be placed on either the left or right hand side depending on the user’s preference. It is designed with a 12.5″ rear-wheel drive system with two upgraded 350W motors to overcome tough terrains such as hills and ramps. Shock absorbing front, rear and side suspension ensures a smooth ride throughout.

The InstaSplit electric wheelchair can reach maximum speeds of 4mph and travel up to 12 miles on one fully charged battery. The wheelchair is perfect for domestic and outdoor use such as supermarkets, shopping centres and parks. There’s a handy under seat storage bag, as well as a zippered side pocket, to carry essentials with you. 

For additional user safety we’ve fitted electromagnetic brakes, rear anti-tip castor wheels and an adjustable seat-belt.
